Swift Worldwide Resources is an international recruitment firm specializing in talent acquisition within the oil and gas industry. We are currently looking for a strong Designer Engineer to work for a 6 months contract (potentially 12 months.
Work Location: Calgary
Work Conditions: Monday to Friday (6 months contract role)

Your Role with the company:
• Support for the design of Junin 6 surface facilities and CPF as a member of the JV Petromiranda-Lavalin working group;
• Conducting an expert assessment of technical, process, and other solutions to be adopted at the early design phase;
• Directly participating in the WG on behalf of NPC;
• Ensuring complete awareness for NPC of the design work progress, compliance with the design schedule, occurrence of risks, etc.;
• Developing recommendations in respect of certain production solutions that significantly influence the design results, to be forwarded to consultancy firms for expert assessment;
• Interfacing with relevant subdivisions of NPC and Member Companies as part of preparation of the required expert assessments and technical solutions;
• Generating and presenting the daily / weekly work progress report.
Qualifications:
• Minimum Position Level of the Applicant: Chief Specialist.
• At least 5 years’ experience of working on similar projects.
Other information:
• Keeping NPC continuously aware of the design work progress;
• Representing the interest of NPC while adopting certain design solutions.
