Swift is looking for a Control System Automation Analyst to work offshore for a major oil and gas operator.
Scope of Work:
Advises National technicians and performs all aspects of troubleshooting, preventive and predictive maintenance on monitoring and control systems. Tests, troubleshoots and corrects production related processes through monitoring and control systems. Complies with, and ensures assigned work group complies with all Company safety standards and work practices and maintains equipment in compliance with Operational procedures and regulatory requirements. Looks for opportunities to improve or revise control applications to make the system more functional for operations. Involvement in commissioning of new projects and facility upgrades as required. Utilizes standards developed for programming of PLC, DCS and MMI packages. Provides input on new technologies considered and stays abreast of technology development and its application. This position is responsible for the back up and documentation of all control systems application programs in assigned area.
